Billboard Magazine recently compiled their list of the top Christian albums and songs throughout the last decade (December 1st, 2009 through September 30th, 2019, based on the Billboard Boxscore data.
Coming in at #1 in the album category was Lauren Daigle's album
How Can It Be, released in 2015. The album led Top Christian Albums for 12 weeks and spent 240 weeks on the charts.
Skillet's album
Awake came in as the #2 album of the decade, which released in 2009. It became the #1 album on Top Christian Albums in September of 2009 and dominated the charts for 12 weeks.
#3 Top Christian Album of the decade is NF's album
Therapy Session, which debuted in 2016. Rounding out the top five is Casting Crowns, with
Until The Whole World Hears at #4 and
Thrive at #5.
Coming in at #1 in the song category is Hillsong United's "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)," which topped the Hot Christian Songs chart for 61 weeks.
#2 is Lauren Daigle's "You Say," which broke the record for the most weeks at #1, coming in at an unprecedented 66 weeks.
Hit worship anthem "What A Beautiful Name" came in at #3, with Cory Asbury's "Reckless Love" at #4 and Country music icon Carrie Underwood at #5 with "Something in The Water."
