Hip-hop artists Psalm and Kurtis Hoppie have teamed up to drop a heavy single about the masks we wear in this world and the barriers we construct in our lives to protect ourselves from being hurt by others.
It is Psalm's prayer that this track will serve as a reminder to those who need it that we do not need to hide our true selves from the world, as we are new creations in Christ.
"Even though we may carry with us burdens and shortcomings from our 'old self', in the eyes of eternity these have already been washed away with the blood of Jesus. Let us rejoice with one another, and be open with one another about our struggles, so that we can be lifted up, encouraged and edified in our church body," Psalm says.
