DREAM Records rock-worship band KINGDOM has a song called "Unbreakable" from their latest album, Redeemer, but while they themselves are unbreakable in the presence and care of Jesus, their earthly homes... not unbreakable, as demonstrated by a recent geological event.
A 6.0 magnitude earthquake hit the Napa, Calif. area on Sunday, Aug. 24, causing at least $300 million in damages according to most recent estimates by government officials. Caught up in that damage was some of KINGDOM's members.
"As you may know half our band lives in Napa..."
the band posted on its Facebook page Wednesday. "Aside from our houses getting thrashed and being without water and power for a while, we are all fine."
Bass player Nate posted
a photo of his ceiling fan, which shook so much due to the quake, that the pull-chain had swung over the fan blades. The most affected by the quake, the band said, was their drummer, Steven.
"The apartment complex where he and his family live has been evacuated, and it may be a while till they can move back in," the band continued.
Be praying for the Napa community, and for the members of KINGDOM, as they attempt to put back the pieces dismantled by the earthquake.
