On November 18, Ron Sararana (DJ Efechto) passed away from a heart attack in his rental apartment while traveling in Spain. He was the in-house producer and DJ at Humble Beast, largely for Propaganda. He also pursued his passion for cooking and photography via Humble Beastro, created in 2015.
A GoFundMe page was created to care for the costs associated with travel, finishing the next mixtape he was working on and to bless his family. To date, over $14,000 out of the $25,000 goal has been raised.
On Sunday, December 9, a nearly sold-out benefit concert was held in Lakewood, California to bring together Efechto's loved ones, family and friends during a night of food, celebration, music and remembrance.
