One of hardcore music's most well-loved acts, August Burns Red, has signed with a new label.
After nearly a decade with Solid State Records, the Christian band this week announced they have signed with rock/metal label Fearless Records, home to a number of mainstream bands such as Eve6, blessthefall, Forever the Sickest Kids and Mayday Parade, among many others.
"We are all extremely excited to be a part of the Fearless Records Family," founding guitarist J.B. Brubaker posted on Facebook Tuesday. "Fearless has done an amazing job building a community within the label as well as a bunch of our friends' bands and careers. We can't wait to see what they can do with ABR."
Brubaker also told fans to "be on the lookout" for the band's label debut album in 2015.
In a statement from their former label, Solid State Records says, "There are absolutely zero hard feelings, and we can't wait to hear the new record. We have had the privilege of working with August Burns Red from the very beginning. Thanks to the band for their integrity, hard work, crushing music as well as to the killer fans that have supported them. We've loved every minute of it."
