Still riding the excitement of last year's legendary reunion, iconic group dc Talk has announced a second Jesus Freak Cruise, setting sail next summer. Hitting the seas on the Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas June 10-14, 2019, the boat will leave from Port Canaveral and travel to Nassau and Cococay, Bahamas. Pricing for the cruise begins at $599.
Uniting members TobyMac, Michael Tait and Kevin Max, last year's Jesus Freak Cruise marked the first time fans saw the band perform together in over 16 years. "I was elated and overwhelmed because the people were really enjoying it. I feel like they were really getting what they came for, which makes us feel amazing. Number two, you can't hide joy. Happiness happens in the moments, but joy you can't hide. On stage, I saw the joy in Kevin Max's eyes, I saw the joy in TobyMac's eyes, in my eyes. We were like kids at Christmas on that stage and that hasn't changed, and it's a blessing," Michael Tait shared following their reunion performance on last year's cruise.
While no additional bands have been announced alongside dc Talk for the 2019 lineup yet, the official website promises an announcement soon. Booking for the cruise opens May 15th at 9am EDT at JesusFreakCruise.com.
