VERIDIA has been in the studio recording their debut full length album, and it looks like they're going to have a very special guest: Amy Lee of Evanescence.

VERIDIA's lead singer Deena Jakoub shared on her
Instagram yesterday that snow had delayed a meeting, saying she "was supposed to meet a friend who's featuring on our album and even the studio closed for today! Postponing for tomorrow."
Today it was revealed who that friend was when Amy Lee, lead vocalist for iconic rock band Evanescence, shared a photo of herself with Deena. Amy said they were "Making beautiful music together on #internationalwomensday."
VERIDIA shared about the experience on their own Instagram later in the day, in a post you can see
here. "It was an absolute honor that @AmyLee would share her talent with us today," they shared. "She brought a level of vulnerability to a song that wouldn't have otherwise existed without her personal story being a part of it. The hope is that our intimate ballad, 'I'll Never Be Ready' will bring hope and solace to anyone enduring loss. This was the missing piece of our debut album and it was worth waiting for. It’s just about ready for your ears."
The two bands' paths have crossed before when VERIDIA opened for a string of Evanescence shows in 2016. Veridia has released three stellar EPs so far, but the album they are currently recording will be their first full length project. They recently announced that it will be releasing on their new label home Razor & Tie.
