Following a successful fall launch of Robert Pierre's new album Nothing Without You and being the featured worship leader of Dr. Ravi Zacharias' 2017 Fall Founder's Conference, Robert is releasing his latest batch of music videos. The full-time worship leader for Harvest Bible Chapel in Winter Garden, Florida and soon-to-be-dad recently posted the videos for "Without You" "Your Name" and "I Will Praise You."
"King Solomon had all this world could offer. However, what he learned was that possessions, pride, and power could not satisfy him. In Ecclesiastes he says, 'All is vanity.' What Solomon came to know was that only God truly satisfies. He is our treasure and our reward, rather than the wealth, worth, or wisdom this world offers. This song has quickly become the anthem of my life as I recognize that I am nothing, without God," Robert says of "Without You."
Nothing Without You is Robert's return after a six-year hiatus. The twelve-track album features the song "Your Name," which Robert says has become an anthem for his church: "When we wrote this song, we wanted the name of Jesus to be its climax. We're singing about this name; a name that is strong to save, that death could not contain, and that no power can stand against. If you don't know the truth of this song, maybe you're saying, "Who are we talking about?" And then comes the bridge, where we declare the name of Jesus as greater than any other name. This song has been a blessing to our church and I'm excited to hear how it is received by yours."
The final new video is for the song "I Will Praise You." "The God of creation, redemption and eternity is worthy of all our heart's praise. This song is the story of every believer whose heart is the Lord's. I love the visual pictures in the song: God speaking light, placing stars, shaping the seas with His own hands and forming mankind from mere dust. That same God, Creator of the world, knew us in our sin and chose to show us grace through Jesus Christ. We were made to worship, and this song is a declaration that we will do just that; not just now, but for all eternity," Robert says.
