The electronic rock band VERIDIA has announced that they have begun recording their debut full length album, which will be releasing in partnership with Razor & Tie.
In a video posted on social media, the band said that they are "here day one to record our first album. We're in the studio for the next six weeks, and we're going to be releasing this album on our new label, Razor & Tie."
VERIDIA formed in 2013 when lead singer Deena Jakoub and guitarist Brandon Brown moved to Nashville after ending their run with former band Don't Wake Aislin. VERIDIA went on to release three EPs with Word Records:
Inseparable,
Pretty Lies and acoustic project
Summer Sessions.
Despite the small body of released work so far, VERIDIA has impacted the CHR charts and demonstrated their reach with songs like "We Are The Brave," "Disconnected" and "Furious Love." The band has opened for Evanescence and played Winter Jam in 2014-15. Their EP
Pretty Lies debuted in the top 20 on the iTunes Alternative Albums chart, and the lead single (which featured
Matty Mullins, who also released his debut record with Razor & Tie) made a significant impact at radio.
