One year after its release, Grammy-nominated artist Lauren Daigle's 2016 holiday album, Behold: A Christmas Collection, is currently the No. 1 album on the Billboard Contemporary Christian Chart.
Crafted as a jazz collection of Christmas classics, along with Daigle's original "Light of the World," Behold reflects the sounds of New Orleans, the seven-time GMA Dove Award winner's hometown. Produced by Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram (How Can It Be), it's Daigle's first Christmas album and also her second album to reach No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums Chart, following How Can It Be, her RIAA-certified Gold debut. Behold has sold over 102,000 units to date and topped iTunes' Christian Albums chart last year. The ten-track record, available on iTunes and streaming services, features Daigle's current Christmas single, "O Holy Night," which is now at radio.
Daigle was also recently honored two times on the annual Forbes' "30 Under 30", making both the Music and Celebrities lists. 30 Under 30 recognizes acclaimed artists and public figures who are impacting culture through their work and platforms.
For this holiday season, Daigle has also released a special line of products through her online store in support of charities with whom she has partnered. The limited edition Gift That Gives Box includes specialty items from fashion companies Love Your Melon, 3 SEAMS, White Flag, and ABLE (formerly Fashionable), all of which are rooted in missions of giving back. Along with products from each organization, which are listed below, the gift box also includes exclusive Lauren Daigle merchandise such as an autographed poster, a vinyl copy of Behold, and more.
"Each year we receive stories of deep and desperate needs from all around the world. Stories of sickness and disease. Stories of extreme poverty. Stories of abuse and chaos. Stories begging for a response of hope. This year, I decided to do something different about it," Daigle said of the Gift That Gives Box inspiration.
"Every gift within your box has a purpose," she continues. "Let's be a generation that carries God's heart into places of need, knowing that our giving reaps His replenishing. Thank you for helping me partner in bringing hope to the lives of many around the world."
