For the past few months, Darren Mulligan and We Are Messengers have been raising funds through a GoFundMe campaign to purchase a much-needed tour bus. Today Darren happily shared via social media that they got the bus : "Thank you so much to everyone who supported this. We got the bus this week and are out on the road. My family won't be able to join us on all the runs but it will allow us to be intentional and have them out as much as possible in the new year. This is an incredible answer to prayer. God is so good."

Darren and his family left Ireland several years ago to come to America and share the Gospel of Christ through music. The vehicle We Are Messengers has been using made it impossible for his wife and kids to travel with him and with a total of over 200 shows played in 2016, being on the road so much has taken a toll on his family. "I long to be able to take my family on this journey and to see them thrive and grow in the Lord as we follow Him. It is so terribly hard to leave them behind and as a father and husband I believe my family has to be my priority," Darren says of how hard it is to leave his family behind when he goes on tour.
 
With the hope of purchasing this bus and converting it to accommodate his family, band and team on the road, Darren began the GoFundMe campaign in October and saw over a hundred people give towards this goal, each sharing their own stories on the campaign page of how the Mulligan family has been a blessing to them with their ministry. "Your support will help purchase the bus, convert it to sleep my family and band members and get it ready for extensive touring over the next years. Please share this project with your friends and thank you so much for the love you all have shown us over these past years. We are determined more than ever to reach as many as possible with the wonderful news of Jesus Christ," Darren said in closing on the GoFundMe page. A total of $11,920 was raised through the campaign.
