On October 14, Xavier Omär released The Everlasting Wave, marking a sense of a rebirth and newfound maturity.
Xavier Omär provides a fresh dialogue of how to respect, honor, and treat women, a viewpoint rarely displayed in urban music. Each track allows his vocal range to shine and take center stage appeasing listeners throughout.
A month prior to the release of The Everlasting Wave, Vibe Magazine interviewed Xavier and complimented him on the maturity displayed on the new project (read the interview here). The extensive interview also covered everything from the reason behind the change in names to musical influences, ending with a few example of the doors which have swung open due to the recent success of the new EP and the fresh attitude behind rebranding.
Formally known as SPZRKT, this rhythm and blues crooner teamed up with some of the industry's best on past records including Tedashii (Below Paradise), KJ-52 (Mental), and Social Club Misfits (Rejects) giving each song a feeling of completion.
Xavier is no stranger to the industry, having handcrafted several mixtapes, EPs, and two studio projects over the last four years. What stands out now is personal growth, lyrically, professionally and personally. You can purchase The Everlasting Wavehere, and keep up with Xavier on Facebook, Soundcloud and Twitter.
