JGivens recently announced the title for his next project, which will be titled My Brother & Me. Currently, he is recording the tracks in a Canadian studio, and he is inviting fans and established producers to submit beats to bookings@tomdrawer.com for consideration.
Due to several snapshots together popping up on social media, originally the project was thought to be a collaboration with Christon Gray, though later JGivens confirmed it was actually a solo effort. Back in September, roles were switched as JGivens was featured on the remix of Christon Gray's "Stop Me."
JGivens' last release, Fly Exam, is only fourteen months old. The creative and ingenious wordplay continues to impress and captivate fans. The album was touted as one of the best releases of 2015. JGivens has also blessed his listeners with most of his discography offered as a free download, available at http://www.jgivens.com/music.
JGivens left his most recent label, Humble Beast, back in July 2016, and he is operating now as an independent artist. Stay tuned for updates and details on this future release at his facebook and twitter.
