The album cover was designed by Disciple's drummer, Joey West. Long Live the Rebels, which is the band's second independent album, is available for preorder through kickstarter, where it has currently surpassed $105,000 raised by backers (preorder the album here). Although the album releases officially on October 14, kickstarter backers will be receiving the album digitally two weeks early. Backers will also be treated to the first two songs as soon as the kickstarter campaign ends on Sept. 12. Several of the preorder packages, such as the option for a private acoustic show, are near to selling out--proof of fan dedication that propelled Disciple past their initial goal of $60,000 in just six days. You can watch a teaser video for the album below.
Disciple shared more information on the album through the most recent installment of their podcast, Bus Banter (subscribe and listen here). Long Live the Rebels will be releasing as Disciple joins RED on their End of Silence 10th Anniversary tour. You can find a full list of tour dates at disciplerocks.com/tour.
