The campaign video details some of the process the band has reached to get to this point. As We Ascend is taking the usual exclusive access for pledgers model to the next level, inviting fans to essentially serve as their record label. Anyone who pledges at a $50 or above level will get to listen to demos, give input on things like tracklisting and artwork and essentially participate in the album's creation in the same way a traditional record label would.
The band's unique hold-nothing-back approach extends to the packages available as well, with options for inclusion on an album listening party, skype co-write sessions and more. It's a move that follow naturally from As We Ascend's first song release, as they relied on fans' grassroots efforts to spread "Wash Away."
