Disciple shared in
a facebook post that their bus, affectionately known to the band and their fans as "Phyllis," currently requires an estimated $15,000 in emergency repairs.
The band was bringing the bus to a mechanic following this spring's 40+ dates on the City Rockfest tour when it broke down. They towed it the rest of the way to the mechanic, where they learned that the estimated repairs would be $15,000.
Disciple has faced bus issues many times in the past, but this expense is double that of their last emergency. "Stuff like this just sometimes happens but God has always been faithful to provide for us somehow," the band shared on facebook. "Keep us in your prayers and if you would like to help us at all, you can click
here. We love you all.... The best fans in the world!"
Fans have instantly taken to social media to express their support and spread the word, using the hashtag #SavePhyllis. The bus emergency coincided with the band's first day in the studio recording their upcoming release
Long Live the Rebels. You can visit
