Georgia based electronic/indie rock fusion band Paper Lights has launched a presale through PledgeMusic for their album Great Escapes. The album is due out March 15, 2016, but fans who back the project at a certain level can get an instant download now.

"I really value the quality of work that results from limitation and personal sacrifice in our art. Because these factors have played such a role in the inspiration of Great Escapes, we decided to fund this record entirely on our own. The whole process required a lot of time and personal resources but in the end became one of the most freeing experiences I have ever felt," Paper Lights founder Dan Snyder explains on the PledgeMusic page. "By participating in this campaign you will be making it possible for us to continue to create music, travel, play in a lot of unconventional places that normally don't have live music and most importantly, connect with people."

Great Escapes, which builds ethereal electronic textures behind vulnerable vocals tempered by occasional hints of raw guitar, follows up the group's 2015 release We Are Arrows and 2013's Caverns. In the past few years the group has earned increasing commercial attention, with placements from companies such as Coca-Cola, Chick-fil-a, Boeing, MTV, ESPN and Outdoor Magazine.
