Crowder has a cameo... sort of.
In the movie, the title character visits famous music venue The Electric Factory in Philadelphia. One of the names displayed prominently on the marquee for upcoming concerts is "CROWDER."
The veteran worship leader
stopped at the venue on this Neon Steeple Tour this April, and it would seem that the timing of his concert just happened to correspond with the Creed crew filming some outdoor shots of the venue.
Creed has been widely hailed as exceptional by both critics and movie-goers, who propelled the movie to a $30.1 million opening weekend-- the highest of any movie in the Rocky saga to date.
