Hillsong Young & Free, the electronic-pop-worship group of youth leaders from Hillsong Church, is recording a new live album to follow-up their live full-length debut,
We Are Young and Free.
On Friday, Nov. 13, the group will be live at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia, recording new songs that will be part of an as of yet untitled 2016 sophomore project.
Young & Free made their mark on worship music in 2014 with their debut single, "Alive," as well as follow-up songs "Wake" and "Sinking Deep"--all of which have gained traction as congregational worship songs on Sunday mornings. The group's 2015 EP, This is Living, brought several new songs to the table, including the energetic title track.
Considered by some to be a Hillsong United for the millennial generation, the worship group was birthed out of the youth ministries at Hillsong Church in Sydney.
