Word Records rock act VERIDIA announced on Facebook that they will be opening for iconic mainstream band Evanescence at two shows in November. The shows will be in Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA. 

The band will also be headlining their own tour in the coming weeks to promote their brand new EP, Pretty Lies. The band has premiered two songs from the EP already, the title track "Pretty Lies" (featuring Memphis May Fire's Matty Mullins) and a song called "Crazy in a Good Way."

VERIDIA rocketed onto the Christian rock scene in 2014 with their critically acclaimed debut EP, Inseparable. The EP spawned the three hit singles "We Are The Brave," "Disconnected" and "Furious Love." The band also opened the Winter Jam Tour Spectacular in 2015, introducing their music to the largest Christian music tour of the year. Over the summer, they kept the momentum going by releasing a slew of acoustic video performances of new songs collectively titled The Summer Sessions. The band announced on Facebook that they are looking into ways to release the music to fans as a download.
