A new season means new music. As we anticipate cooler weather, colorful leaves, and all things fall, we can also look forward to new albums from artists who have been in Christian music for many years, like Matthew West, as well as newer artists like Franni Cash. From indie-pop, high-energy pop, and everything in between, autumn 2026 is set to be a great season for Christian pop.
the most beautiful colours - for KING & COUNTRY (September 18)
After popular Christian family duo for KING & COUNTRY released the single "World on Fire" in October 2025, it was clear that a new album was coming. Since then, they've released four additional songs from the upcoming album the most beautiful colors. A few of the songs include "ever and ever before," featuring Christian artists MORIAH and Courtney Smallbone, Joel and Luke's wives, as well as the most recently released high-energy song, "alle."
Here I Am - Franni Cash (September 18)
Formerly with another family band, We the Kingdom, Christian contemporary artist Franni Cash's debut full-length solo album is Here I Am. She's been open on her Instagram about how deeply personal this album is and about using her own experiences of church hurt and formerly being in a religious cult to write the lyrics for the album. A few of the songs already released include "Darken the Doorway," "Church Clothes," and "Jesus All Along."
Jesus is King - Matthew West (September 25)
A longtime voice in Christian music, Matthew West is releasing his fourteenth studio album, Jesus is King, on September 25. Songs from the album that have already been released include "Jesus is King," "Back to Jesus," and "Good," which West performed during the 2026 Winter Jam tour alongside his daughter Lulu West.
Halfway Home - We Are Messengers (September 25)
This year marks 10 years since We Are Messengers began releasing music, and they're back with Halfway Home, releasing on September 25. Currently released songs from the album include "Halfway Home," "Faith Hope Love," "Room For You," and "Lay It All On You." They're headed out on the Halfway Home Tour, which kicks off September 24.
Here Comes the Church (Live) - Tauren Wells (October 2)
Recorded in front of a sold-out crowd at the Moody Theater at Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas, Here Comes the Church (Live) features a diverse lineup of guest artists on nearly every song. Featured artists include Davies, Red Rocks Worship, Israel Houghton, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Hulvey, and more. Currently released songs include "Breathe On It," "Making Room" featuring husband-and-wife duo Paul McClure and Hannah McClure, and "What A Miracle Feels Like," featuring R&B worship artist Naomi Raine.
Honest Jesus Music, Vol. 2 - Shaylee Simeone (November 6)
Honest Jesus Music, Vol. 2 is Shaylee Simeone's third full-length album and second album of 2026, with Honest Jesus Music, Vol. 1 releasing in June 2026. Even by just looking at the track list, you can see that the album is a raw and personal exploration of faith. Currently released songs include "Can We Go Back?," "Marriage Is Hard," and "I Miss Not Knowing."
