God and Prayer
The Bible is filled with stories of lives of people who prayed at different stages of their lives. Moses prayed when He was at his wits end with the people of Israel. Rebekah prayed when she wondered about the fate of her unborn children. Solomon prayed for wisdom. Hannah prayed for a child. Abraham prayed for a city. Jesus prayed when he was about to face the cross.
We may find ourselves in the place of prayer for different reasons. Our prayer could be a cry for help, an expression of gratitude, or simply a dialogue with God, as part of our relationship with God. We can pray for anything and anyone. Prayer has even been deemed by contemporary science to have medical and physiological benefits.
