Our generation's greatest tragedy is our concept of love. God is no longer love. We are. We have taken one of the most fundamental concepts in the Christian faith and twisted it to further our selfish goals. Love is no longer the self-sacrificing commitment that we see Christ so elegantly display during his lifetime and on the cross; it is now a self-serving feeling that we pursue.
By first grounding ourselves on the most basic principle of biblical love, this book will then go on to establish other core concepts in the Christian faith. Concepts such as truth, "free will," God's will, the purpose of creation, destiny, the Trinity, baptism, fasting, communion, redemption, resurrection, hope, prayer, and faith to name a few. This book uses the bible to bring together a framework for the Christian faith with love at its very foundation. It provides an invaluable insight into how the world works and what the Christian is called to do.
Writing this book has been for me an incredible journey in deepening my faith and it is my sincere prayer that reading it will aid you in your understanding of the Christian faith and the Christian purpose.
