Three teenage brothers from a country town are drawn into a deadly conflict when they chase a small, odd creature into a world very different from their own – Eldengard, a land inhabited by strange races, both good and evil. The boys learn much about courage, integrity and faith in this beautiful but often hostile world. Through the trials of their quest, they discover that Someone loved and guided them - even though they were often unaware of His presence. They also find that things do not always work out as they had expected. Many of the names of people and places in the novel are anagrams which give the reader a deeper insight into this action-packed Christian allegory. Solutions to the anagrams are given at the back of the book.
What a treat, Christian allegory is a lot of fun to read. At the back of the book are the references to the words. Like Dewthor which comes from Ephesians 6:17 2 words "helmet, sword". Or Scirthians which is from Acts 11:16 Christians. This is an adventure of three brothers, Danny, Ben, and Nathan who find the Kingdom of Eldengard. First up was a grueling training course, learning to use the weapons they were given. Then the long trek to the Fortress of Migdol. And finally the battle of Obold Pass outside the gates of Migdol.
