Christian Paul is a multi-faceted singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Alabama, now residing in Nashville, TN. At twelve-years-old, Christian was writing songs and learning a variety of instruments, encouraged by the musicians surrounding him both in and out of church. Self-taught and forging his own path, the 22-year-old draws inspiration from his faith, relationships, and a span of genres to meld disparate worlds into his own intimate sonic collage.
Christian’s first three singles, “When Love Don’t Love You Back,” “Strong” and “Chapter”, draw on the signature soul of Alabama and his childhood influences, demonstrating his natural affinity for creating grandiose melodies that are interwoven with a more introspective narrative. Christian is currently working towards releasing his debut album, partnering with Capitol CMG, and exploring a deeper direction.
Determined to marry contemporary Christian and pop with Gospel and RnB/Soul, the multi-hyphenate is on a clear mission. “I want listeners to be provoked to think about how they can live to the glory of the Lord, who Christ is, seriously consider eternal matters, and seriously consider truth,” Christian says. “With that being said, there are definitely songs that are intentionally written to help people develop a theology, if you will, or an understanding about who God is.”
