Monique Terez is a contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter from the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. Blessed with a strong yet soothing voice, she has definitely developed a sound of her own.

Passionate about seeing lives and hearts transformed by the presence of God, she is currently serving on the worship team at her local church. She has also earned various nominations for her heart-felt singing and songwriting, including the Caribbean Gospel Award and the Bahamian Cacique Award Nominations.

As a child, Monique grew up in an environment hearing her father (who is a pianist) play gospel, calypso, jazz and classical music around the house.

She started singing in primary school and continued singing throughout high school and college along with various bands, worship teams and choirs. In the past, she has also had the opportunity of serving as the youth ministry worship leader at her local church.

Monique’s debut EP- “Your Love” is filled with inspiring lyrics and gripping melodies that encourage listeners to never give up, to fulfill their purpose here on earth , to draw closer to God and to find refuge in Him.

“My prayer is that these songs will be a source of hope and encouragement for anyone who listens. Sometimes our daily lives are like riding a roller coaster with many ups and downs as well as terrifying, happy and exciting moments. Over the years I’ve realized that as everything seems to be changing around us, there is one constant and that’s Gods love for us.

Psalm 86:15 says...."But you , O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. “Your Love” is a reminder of the magnitude of Gods infinite love for us. God showed his love by sending his one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins. (John 3:16) I believe that God is calling the Body of Christ to boldly and incessantly declare the message of His Love ,now more than ever”. - Monique

Aiming to live life on purpose, she is definitely on a mission to see people healed, delivered and set free through the infinite power of God and the revelation of His unconditional love for them.
