What Are You Waiting For?

A good solid rock album overall that focuses a lot on High School life and relationships. If you are looking for something deep lyrically or that is more praise related this probably wouldn't be a good choice. The songs on the album are upbeat and remind me of driving down a road with the windows rolled down.

what are you waiting for? is a great beginner album by fm static. it does not disappoint.

while this album has a great sound to it, the lyrics could use some shaping. The songs make you want to sing along, it's just a shame that when you do, nothing meaningful is coming out. I was singing Hold Me Twice and my mom asked if it was a Christian song. What could i say? the song is about guy crushing on this girl and then they date for a while then she moves. So, no it wasnt a Christian song. Same could apply to most songs on this album. I am a fan of FM Static, but for their sound and not much else.

FM Static is so amazing. I love this CD too. IDK what some people don't like about it but it is their opinion.

I really love this album. I've actually listened to it several times on the band's official site. and from there I had memorized all the words. but they took the CD off the site, and so I figured I had better buy the CD so I could listen to it some more. because I absolutely love it. They have got some creative lyrics in here. I love FM Static.

There was a point in time when I had this entire album (even the hidden track) memorized. It's a fun album that has a great message. I loved it!

its a pretty good cd. its not my complete favorite but i like it!

My sister bought this cd, and I liked it, and so when I found it at a Goodwill in Nebraska like, idk a year later or something for 4 dollars, I was very extremely happy. I was a little worried it might be scratched, but I decided to go ahead and buy it, and was VERY pleased with my purchase. I like the whole CD and listen to it often. :D (I especially like "three days later", and no. 4 I think it is? somewhere around there. :D)

Thousand Foot Krutch side project FM Static is a great listen to for teens. It deals with issues that affect teens all in a nice punk sound. A great debut.

A pretty awesome CD, considering it's a side project for TFK's Trevor McNevan. It has great, catchy songs that you can't help but love, but it is lacking in the lyrical area. Most of the songs don't have very much substance, but nevertheless, a good party CD and fun listen.

The songs are so catchy. Although most of the songs are about girls, I still love this cd it's seems like a lot of thought was put into the music. The whole cd flows really well.

Trevor McNiven (Thousand Foot Crutch) might have been bored with writing rock songs that might have been why we have FM Static, and their debut CD what are you waiting for.

FM Static does very well on their first album on the music. The punk is impressive the music flows along very cleanly, and it is very up-beat. The single “something to believe in” is the best sounding song on the album but, “defiantely maybe”, “Donna” “three days later” and almost every song on the CD are good punk songs.

The one thing that isn’t impressive is the lyrics. In most cases the songs are meaningless, talking about girls, school or making a commotion. When the songs do say something meaningful, the songs are pretty much useless, and there is nothing about God in there lyrics either. The song with the most depth is “something to believe in” which isn’t great.

The punk is great, but it’s unfortunate that Trevor McNevin doesn’t put the put that much into FM Static, lyrics as he does Thousand foot Crutch.

i love this album, full of catchy pop/punk, you find it hard not to sing along with every song, great CD to just chill to or to have a party with, its all just plain fun music.
