For Those Who Wait

I love Fireflight's music. One of my favorites is definetly "For those who wait". I know the former drummer, Phee. He goes to my church and I get to play on the worship team with him. Really cool dude.

I totally LOVE this album! It's AMAZING. Fireflight's best work to date. I love each and every one of the songs so very much. ;P Fireflight ROCKS!

I gotta say that this is Fireflight's best album. All their music sounds so original. I love it. I don't get tired of listening to them. Compared to their other albums "The Healing of Harms" and "Unbreakable" (which are also very good)"For Those Who Wait" has to be their best work so far. I encourage everyone who has a taste for good Christian rock music to buy this album. You will not be disappointed. :) My favorite song is "What I've Overcome" but all the songs are awesome!!!

This summer I purchased Fireflight's new album, "For Those Who Wait".
I Loved it!
Fireflight never ceases to amaze me with the messages they pour into their music.
The song, "For Those Who Wait" reminds us as Christians that we need to wait on God's timing and wait on Him to make a move in our lives. Even if we're in a tough spot and it feels like it's lasting forever, God is working and when He moves, the wait is definitely worth it.
The song "Desperate" is a heart cry to God. Sometimes we feel like God is so far away and we become desperate just to hear from Him. The lyrics in this song are obviously a yearning to draw closer to God.
"You will seek Me, and find Me, when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13.
Fireflight's newest album is definitely an up-lifter for our hearts. I encourage everyone to really listen to these songs and let them speak to your heart and be encouraged, because God is in control.

Fireflight's third album feels a lot like their previous album Unbreakable. That's not to say it's worse in any way, I actually thought this album was quite good. The choruses and hooks are catchy as always but, like with Unbreakable and the Healing of the Harms, it just feels to short. This album and Unbreakable only have 10 songs that fill up around 35 minutes. Healing of the Harms has the same length but with 11 songs. If you enjoyed Unbreakable, you might enjoy this one as well because it sounds the same, and I'm okay with that.

Yet another album full of the awesome that is Fireflight. I was hooked from the first time I heard their music, and this newest album is no exception to the great gift God has given to this group.

From the title track that starts off this album with huge energy, all the way to something as quiet as 'Name', every song proclaims and recognizes the glory of God and reminds us that no matter how broken we are, we are loved and will be made whole.

Awesome, awesome album!

I just bought the cd last Sunday. It rocks out from begining to end. I highly recommend this cd to anyone who like female fronted rock bands. The only down fall i can say for the cd was the sound quality. The bass was a bit to heavy in the recording. Which causes the music to sound compressed especially when the bass drum hits. But for the music itself A++.

Fireflight didn't once hit a sour note! All the songs were awesome. I liked that they had some soft ones too. You could almost worship to some of the songs. No use picking favorites. :D

The lyrics weren't as deep as they were in Unbreakable and the band didn't seem to play as fluidly as before, but still and ok album. For Those Who Wait is a good song and some others can really connect with the listener.

It was good listening music but personally it did not catch my eye enough for me to want to go out and purchase the album with so many other artists releasing their albums as well.

I bought the new album at midnight and I am not disappointed! Fireflight is one of my favorite bands and they continue to please. I like when bands' sounds mature but I don't like them to change completely. Fireflight definitely fits that criteria with "For Those Who Wait." The songs are different enough from previous albums to be interesting, but it still sounds like Fireflight. Highly recommended!

Well there are groups that often fade away after a few hits. There are groups that fade away after a few albums. Not so with Fireflight they have once again put forth another great piece of work. They have done it wonce again and listerners will be pleased with what they hear.

If you like Fireflight's previous albums, you will not be disappointed with their newest one "For Those Who Wait." It still carries the music edge with deep content and lyrics. A must have, I believe, for 2010!

from the time i heard desperate on air1 radio, i was hooked to this new cd. dawn's vocals are absolutely AMAZING as well as the blending of the male guitarist's vocals with hers. can't wait for this cd to come out so i can buy it!

This album ROCKS and i can't wait to buy it!! If any of you have not listened to this you HAVE TO, it's awesome and good lyrics.Also you guys need to pay good attention to the lyrics too.

This was my first time really "listening" to a Fireflight album. They truly rock! I like their edgy sound and the lyrics grab your attention and don't let go! Awesome arrangements...Awesome lyrics...Awesome group....AWESOME album!!! Thanks NRT for sharing!!!

I am so excited about this album. After listening to the preview I can say that I believe Fireflight has gone even deeper on this album. I feel like their lyrics have progressively gotten deeper and delved more into their faith. I can't wait to watch this band continue to be successful.

Fireflight's newest album, For Those Who Wait, was definately worth waiting for! I can't wait until it drops so that I can crank it up all the time! They took the greatness of their last album, and expanded on it and kicked it up a couple of notches.

Fireflight has done it again.Their third release "For Those Who Wait" is a fine album.I enjoyed the strigs on this song very much.Dawn's voice is very distinctful and powerful.My favorite songs are "Desperate","What I've Overcome","New Perspective" and "You Give Me A Feeling". These songs are what has made Fireflight a good rocking band.
The best song on the CD is "Name".It is a great ballad with powerful lyrics.I would not be surprised at all to see this song played on CCM radio stations.
Overall,this CD is very good. My only complaint is that it only has 10 songs.
Fireflight is rapidly moving up the ladder as a staple for Christian rock.The sky is the limit for this band.I urge everyone to pick up this CD.

I have been hearing the song Desperate on Air1 for some time now and I have really loved that song and I have been highly anticipating the new album and I am happy that I can finally hear the album streaming and the album is as good as I thought it would be, which is phenominal. I love the album and I can't wait until it comes out next week for sale!

For Those Who Wait, the third release by Florida Hard Rock Band Fireflight, picks up where Unbreakable left off and barely slows down. From the Opening Title cut to the closing ballad "It all comes down to this" we are treated to the best Female Fronted Rock this year. When not screaming out some of the most deep and spiritual lyrics out this year, vocalist Dawn Michele slows things down for songs like "He Sees You" and showcases an ethereal voice similar to Evanescence Amy Lee or Plumbs Tiffany Lee.

I am placing this album on my Short list of Perfect Albums, which currently include Chasing Furies with Abandon, Skillet Awake and Evanescence- Fallen. I am placing it as My #1 album of 2010 and I dare anyone to try to knock it off.

I saw them in concert not to long ago and they played Desperate. I was already excited for their new album at that time. Well after hearing the preview.....it rocks!!! They still have their same great sound which makes them who they are. I love them. I think everyone should buy their new album. I know I will.

Let's get this clear right up front - there isn't another band out there that combines the clarity of message, the beautiful lead voice, and the willingness to rock it out loud that Fireflight brings to the table. Here, once again it's all on display.

I enjoyed it overall. There were four songs that stood at on the album for me. I have heard Desparate before on the radio do I like that one. The Title track, "For Those Who Wait," really speaks to me what I have been going through for the last couple of years. The last two songs on the album I really like as well. "All I Need To Be" and "Recovery Begins" just spoke to my heart and touched me. They have encouraged me today and I could listen to them over and over again and still want to listen to them. A great album worth picking up when it comes out.

Upon first listening, Fireflight's For Those Who Wait sounds different, which makes me jump for joy, as many bands stick with the sound that helped them make it big. Unbreakbale was an incredible album, and at first I was worried that it would be hard to top, as many bands peak musically at their sophomore album.
Alas, I was wrong.
Their sound has matured, while their songwriting is simplistic, but, as always, solid. Overall, it is a meeting between a revised Healing of Harms and Unbreakable with a touch of strings that really works for them as a band. I am pleasantly surprised and as long as listeners appreciate it as the next step up from the bellowing guitars and hard rock sound of Unbreakable, it will be seen as it's own piece.
Right now, Fire In My Eyes, For Those Who Wait, New Prespective, and Name are the most notable tracks.
For some, it may take more than one listen, as I know Unbreakable was well recieved in comparison to Healing of Harms, but I plead with you, skeptical reader, do give it a good listen.

When I heard "For Those Who Wait" and "Desperate" live, I knew this album would be a career defining moment for Fireflight. If you don't know about Fireflight, you will definitely not get them out of your heads after this one. The haunting "Name," and "Recovery Begins," showcase Dawn's beautiful voice and dynamic range as well as a piano track that truly sets the mood. This whole album is laced with hope and that waiting on God is a good thing because He always keeps his promises. I am betting that Fireflight's popularity will sky rocket after this one. Love it!
