Albatross

The Classic Crime made a big impression when their debut album released. I really enjoyed this album a lot. The hooks were catchy and the songs were well written. The only complaint I have is about the last song on the album. It just felt out of place to me but besides that, this album is well worth it.

This cd is incredible! I can't believe that this was a debut! Blisters and Coffee,I Know The Feeling,and All The Memories are AWESOME songs!!!!!!!! The Classic Crime ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this album..... I think The Classic Crime are now one of my favorite bands. I love "Flight of Kings" "Who Needs Air" and "Blisters and Coffee." I can't wait to get The Silver Cord.

This is one of my favorite cds. The Classic Crime really shows that they have talent with this record. There is a lot of variety on the disc and a lot of really good songs. I can't wait for their next album. My favorite songs are "Say The Word", "The Fight", "We All Look Elsewhere", and "Flight of Kings".

The Classic Crime brings just great rock in this album. Songs like 'the fight' and 'coldest heart' deliver great rock melodies just to rock with. and 'headlights' is a nice slow song to listen to. yeah classic crime's Albatross is pretty good.

I think this Cd rocks. It's a great rock CD with catchy songs and good beats. I love the lead singer's voice, it works for the harder songs and for the slow ones. The best songs are The Fight, The Coldest Heart and Headlights, in my opinion, but every song is good.

They're still pretty new as a band I think. There are some really solid songs on this CD and it's a lot more vocally stable than other stuff they've put out, but you can tell they still have a lot of growing to do musically. I'm not pushing them completely aside just yet. This album has peaked my interest just enough to make me curious as to what's next for them.

I am a huge fan of tooth and nail records, and they've done it again!!! The classic crime is an amazing new band, and Albatross, an amazing new cd!!! The creativity of the lyrics and music makes this album diverse, even though it reinstates themes we all know. W/a soft rock type of sound, unique instrumentals, and amazing lyrics, albatross is a hit!!! Keep an eye on the classic crime, they're sure to have more hit songs soon!!!

For a new band to produce an album this strong right out of the gate says alot, and that is exactly what Albatross is. The Fight is the perfect lead track, with a guitar hook that grabs ther listener instantly and carries that momentum throughout the song. Warrior Poet, and We All Look Elsewhere continue in this vein, while keeping the screming far from the point of excess. And The Classic Crime displays their multi-dimensional talents by using catchy riffs to carry The Coldest Heart, Bitter Uprising, and All the Memories, while slowing into introspective moments on Headlights and Who Needs Air. This is a complete album from a complete band.

This album is amazing. The Classic Crime has such an incredible sound. They do some pretty sweet stuff with the drums too (especially on The Fight)

I LOVE this CD, it's got everything u want in a CD, it's extremely catchy, it makes u want to bang your head and jump around, the songs fill you with emotions, it's just plain awesome! My favorite songs are probably... ya, w/e i love all the songs, can't pick any favorites, lol.

This album has everything needed to create the perfect debut album, catchy melodys, awesome guitar riffs and catches the attention of the listener.

I highly recommend this album, it is spectacular, with no 'filler' songs. The highlight of this album for me would have to be "The Coldest Heart", it's got a perfect balance of everything...
