True Beauty

By mizgardenia,
This was one of the first books I read by Janette Oke and I was completely blown away by her writing style. Centered on Berta the book is about two women and the choices they made to become who they are.
Berta feels like so many of us do, left out of the limelight. And instead of wanting to believe she is worthy of being (outwardly) beautiful-she becomes how she thinks everyone sees her.
It's truly a astonishing journey of how one woman finally comes back to herself and the God who has thought she was beautiful all the while. I believe so many women can relate to her story. It was a good read, and I highly recommend anything Janette Oke wrote. View All Music And Book Reviews By mizgardenia | View mizgardenia's Profile
