Yearly update: Yet, another year has passed. So many things have changed in this past year. Since my last update, I have experienced loss/grief, graduated with my Masters, currently working towards my license, and growing professionally at my new job. I have been blessed to be able to save and have a good paying job that provides good benefits. I was able to go to the doctor for the first time in over a decade. I attended to my first therapy session, and I am going to do a sleep study next week to determine if I have sleep apnea. So, a lot has happened. However, the biggest change is coming out to myself. No labels are necessary since I believe that any level can't fully define who I am. One label (Christian), however, has been one that I no longer identify as. Not that I am not Christian any more, but it is harder and harder to be defined as a Christian. I do believe in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit and believe that Jesus is my savior, but I do not practice my faith the same way I did a year ago. I am not sure anyone will be reading this or what you might think about me "coming out" but I feel this is a safe place because It is something I have yet to express to my parents. For now, coming out to myself is good enough. Until next year... Take care and God Bless you'll. Posted 11.03.19 at 02:40AM |
It is crazy how much my music has changed. I joined NRT when the "song battles" were a thing. Jeremy Camp's song was against the Newsboys. I listened to Jeremy Camp none stop! At the time, I owned all his albums while attended to all the concerts that were near my city. Now, I have not heard any of his last 2 or 3 CDs. I used to buy them on the day it came out (rather pre-0rder the special edition CD). Oh, those good days when life was simple as my music taste. lol
(it has been almost a year since I last logged-in. I guess until next year I will give another update. hahaha)

Eight years since I joined NRT! It is nostalgic for me coming back because so much has changed since then. I used NRT daily back in the day. Not so much anymore, but it was great reminiscing about the good old days. The forums were my favorite; too bad it was removed.
Hope everyone is well and may God bless you all. Posted 09.17.17 at 10:00PM |
