1. The baby news keeps coming in the Christian music community. The Neverclaim's lead singer, Jeremiah Carlson and his wife, Kara, just welcomed their third child into the world--their first son, named Valor Reign Carlson. He already sounds like one of those "Mighty Men of God."
2. Kim Walker-Smith's niece is like many young girls these days who are obsessed with the Disney movie Frozen, and for her birthday, she wanted Elsa to come to her party and sing "Let it Go." So Kim put on a dress and a wig with a long blonde braid, and played the part.
3. Weren't able to catch NEEDTOBREATHE and Switchfoot's Tour de Compadres? No problem. The bands are partnering with music streaming service Tidal to stream Friday's sold-out performance in Nashville. Check it out at tidal.com starting at 9:30 p.m. Central time.
4. While some people feel like the words "back to school" are being thrown around a bit early, Chris Tomlin's skipping right to Christmas. Yesterday he excitedly shared the album artwork of his forthcoming Christmas record, titled Adore: Christmas Songs of Worship. But can you blame him?
5. Yesterday, twin brothers Jacob and Joshua Olds--better known as Family Force 5's Crouton and Fatty--celebrated their birthday. And from the baby picture they shared with fans on social media, it's clear Josh hasn't changed too much over the years.
6. Jason Crabb and Ginny Owens were getting goofy backstage recently. Ginny, who's blind, gave Jason her cane, and Jason gave Ginny his glasses. Ginny said she still couldn't see, but it was a "delightful experiment" nonetheless.
7. Rapture Ruckus and Jonathan Thulin are going on tour together. And if you guessed that they'd name said tour after their joint song "Volcano," well then you'd be right. It's the Volcano Tour--coming soon!
8. Matthew West is preparing his merch packs for fans, and he can honestly say they are the best merch packs he's ever put together. For starters, they come with two free concert tickets. The photo he shared indeed had brown paper packages tied up with string, so we're guessing they also include a few of your favorite things.
