In celebration of their cover of Ebony Magazine's February "Black Love" Issue, David and Tamela Mann will release the story behind their 25th wedding anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony on video, highlighting the big day. Included are personal insights from David and Tamela on how they first met and fell in love, the preparations leading up to the ceremony and reception, time with their family, exclusive scenes from the day's events including exchanging of the vows, a new song by David and Tamela, reception dancing and celebrating, and a rendition of "Take Me To The King" by Tamela with the song's writer and producer, Kirk Franklin, on keys.
"With the February issue of Ebony Magazine's cover shoot and Valentine's Day right around the corner, we wanted to share our love story and the wedding day with all our fans who always support and encourage us in our marriage," said David. "It's important to us to keep our love strong for each other every day, and by sharing our story, we hope it will be encouragement to other married couples to do the same," added Tamela.
David and Tamela Mann celebrated 25 years of marriage last spring with an intimate wedding ceremony and vow renewal surrounded by family and close friends at the Joule Hotel in Dallas. From Tamela's couture wedding gown and beautiful ceremony to a reception filled with plenty of dancing and entertainment, the event was everything David and Tamela dreamed of for their wedding - 25 years in the making.
To usher in Valentine's Day, Ebony magazine is showcasing the love among three African-American power couples in its February 2014 issue. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, Carmelo and La La Anthony and David and Tamela Mann will each have their own cover, and inside the magazine, readers can learn about the spouses' love stories, how they knew they had found "the one," and what they do keep the fires burning. The February issue is on stands now.
