While staying in Ohio following a performance on Friday,
We As Human had a significant amount of cash stolen from their hotel room.
The authorities are working to track down the perpetrator and the missing funds, but in the meantime, the loss is a significant financial blow to the band. As has always been We As Human's style, their fundraising focuses on collaboration with their dedicated fanbase. Guitarists Justin Forshaw and Jake Jones and promise to set up group online hangout sessions to share some of their guitar insights, favorite riffs and even some sneak peeks into the creative process behind their upcoming album. Major contributors will also have the chance for a one on one session.
Although the setback comes at the beginning of a busy summer of playing festivals for the group, they remain positive. Justin Forshaw shared "We are absolutely determined to keep going and bring you the best WAH shows that you have seen to date but could use a little help from our amazing family!"
