2026 GRAMMY Award Christian Category Winners Announced

Each year, the GRAMMY Awards spotlight excellence across every corner of music, including five categories for Christian and Gospel recordings. Winners are announced during the live ceremony on February 1, 2026. See below for the artists and albums that broke out into mainstream recogniztion this year.
Best Contemporary Christian Music Album WINNER: CORITOS VOL. 1 – Israel & New Breed
Nominees included Forrest Frank, Israel & New Breed, Brandon Lake, Lecrae, and Tauren Wells.
Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song WINNER: "Hard Fought Hallelujah" – Brandon Lake with Jelly Roll The genre-blending collaboration took home the win in a category that also featured Elevation Worship, Forrest Frank, Lecrae, and Darrel Walls with PJ Morton.
Best Gospel Performance/Song
WINNER: "Come Jesus Come" – CeCe Winans featuring Shirley Caesar
The worship anthem rose above a strong field, including Kirk Franklin, Pastor Mike Jr., Jonathan McReynolds & Jamal Roberts, and Tasha Cobbs Leonard with John Legend.
Best Gospel Album WINNER:Heart Of Mine – Darrel Walls & PJ Morton
The album edged out releases from Yolanda Adams, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tamela Mann, and Tye Tribbett.
Best Roots Gospel Album WINNER:I Will Not Be Moved (Live) – The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
The iconic choir claimed the award over fellow nominees Gaither Vocal Band, The Isaacs, Karen Peck & New River, and Candi Staton.
