"Next to You" is available now for the upcoming movie, 'Hazel'

This week, former lead singer of We The Kingdom and now new solo artist Franni Cash announced that she will be appearing and releasing a song for an upcoming film, Hazel. The movie is based on a true story and will be released this fall in select theaters. Franni will make an acting appearance along with debuting her original song for the movie, "Next To You," which already has an official music video released.
"Had the privilege of getting to fulfill a lifelong dream, acting and writing a song for a movie," Franni shared on social media, announcing the news with a clip of "Next To You." "Hazel is such a powerful story, and cannot wait for y'all to see it when it comes out later this year."
Hazel is based on the true story of three children who became lost in a blizzard for 15 hours as their father searched for them. The movie is scheduled to premiere on September 26th & 27th in North Dakota before being shown around the state. It is currently unknown if the movie will be shown in theaters beyond or where it will end up on streaming platforms.
Franni Cash has had a busy season, which fans have been excitedly supporting her in. After stepping away from We The Kingdom in 2023, she is now beginning a new chapter as a solo artist. She released her debut EP, Wild Child, in June 2025 and is gearing up to open for Brandon Lake on the King of Hearts World Tour 2026.
