Joel and Luke Smallbone (pictured above with their manager father and lighting director brother) have had a busy few days in New York City, visiting the offices of high profile media outlets like PBS, YouTube, SiriusXM and NBC. You can view the TODAY performance below.
In an email blast to fans, the group detailed their past few days: "Monday, we recorded an hour long special at the McKittirick Hotel that will air on PBS (more details to come). Then Tuesday, we played a few songs for the NY YouTube crew, as well as stepped over to SiriusXM to film acoustic versions from our new album + we covered our friend, producer & co-writer, Aqualung's "Brighter Than Sunshine!" And lastly, Wednesday (today) our trip culminated in performing as part of TODAYon NBC!"
The appearances are part of the continued meteoric rise of for KING & COUNTRY, whose delightfully over-the-top live show and unique, creative musical sound have won them one of the fastest growing audiences in the industry.
Despite the success, the Smallbone brothers have kept their heads and hearts centered. After detailing their adventures, the brothers shared "the word that I hope we keep in the forefront of our (and your) minds is mission.
