Over the weekend, the 2022 American Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. The 50th annual awards show honors popular artists and musicians in categories ranging from pop to Gospel.
This year, for KING + COUNTRY and Tamela Mann won Favorite Inspirational Artist and Favorite Gospel Artist in their respective categories.
"Never thought we'd see the day where these two chaps from an island in the southern hemisphere would win an AMERICAN Music Award," for KING + COUNTRY shared on social media. "And it was all YOU who made it happen! To you who cast your votes day after day for Favorite Inspirational Artist, our deepest gratitude."
