Long-time Christian Rock band Fireflight has been awarded an RIAA Gold Certification for their hit single "Unbreakable" as it has passed 500,000 in sales! "Unbreakable" comes off of the album of the same name that was released in 2008. The band celebrated on Facebook with their fans, saying "We are so blown away and in a state of disbelief with this incredible news! YOU all made this happen! Thank you all for believing in us, for buying our music, streaming our songs, coming out to shows, writing us and encouraging us along the way. But most of all we are humbled that God has allowed us to be a part of His story in this way! Again... thank you all so much"
As of 2020, Fireflight is also celebrating 20 years as an official band. With five full-length albums, they have plenty of experience under their belt. Fireflight is not finished making music, either, as they have also finished creating their sixth studio album with Josiah Prince over at The Ranch Studios in partnership with Rockfest Records.
