Elias Dummer, the worship leader behind the hit song "Enough" and the former frontman in The City Harmonic, is giving fans a sneak peek of his new song "Good" and inviting them to take part in a collaborative music video.
Recently announced as the winner of GMA Canada's "Breakthrough Artist of the Year" at the 41st Annual Covenant Awards, Dummer announced the project in a youtube video where he also shared a preview of the unreleased song in its entirety.
"It's a strange moment, right?", says Elias. "We're home in quarantine. There's a lot of uncertainty. But at the same time, there are these little reminders of how God works things together for good... reminders of the goodness of God. When this whole thing went down, my family was soon singing "Good" around the house. The song doesn't come out officially until June, but it struck me that it's really a song for right now and that many people might be feeling the same way. So I'm involving folks from all over the world in the making of the lyric and music video to tell our communities that, even in the midst of a global crisis, God is good and fighting for good."
