Last week Integrity Music singer/songwriter Alisa Turner released her full-length debut album, Miracle or Not, accompanied by a brand new acoustic performance video for the current single from the album, her version of Jesus Culture's "Miracles."
"I dearly hope this record touches every heart that hears it. But for those walking in the depths of barely holding on, I wrote this record for you. These songs will carry you as they've carried me through the unthinkable. They will be moments to comfort you, encourage you, pull you through, and remind you over and over and over again that He is For you. That His plans for you are beyond your wildest dream. That He is Still Worthy of All our praise. So we will praise Him. Miracle or Not, we will praise Him. He sits with us in the fire. He catches every tear. He will never forget what we've been through. He will turn devastation into Glory. You have my word on that," Alisa shared via social media on release day.
Alisa went live on Facebook later that day to take fans along with her as she visited LifeWay to buy her record and sign a few copies. "Can't believe I just bought my own album at LifeWay," she excitedly wrote.
On Monday, Alisa released the acoustic video for "Miracles." The song takes on a personal meaning for Turner, who struggles daily with the long-term effects of Chronic Lyme Disease: "I truly believe that He is a God of Miracles. Whether I am healed or not, It doesn't change who He is, and how I love Him, and how He loves me. These things with all my heart I believe."
Alisa wrapped up release day with an emotional and thankful message to fans, saying, "Blood sweat tears and a bit of vomit went into the making of this. I was sicker this winter than I've been in years. But it was and will always be worth pushing through. I'd do anything for Him above, and anything for you my friends... these songs are yours now. All my love."
