Seasond rock group Fireflight is starting off the year with a hard-hitting new single and a timely message. The band followed up the release of "I Won't Look Back" by posting a lyric video earlier this week.
"I Won't Look Back" was released on February 9th and "releases during a season that finds the band taking a step back from constant touring" while continuing to release new music they feel passionate about.
In a post on Facebook, Fireflight shared the lyric video for the song while sharing their heart. "Silenced by fear, victims of sexual assault have been left shrouded in darkness with feelings of isolation and an understanding that no one is willing to fight for them. We, as a body of believers, must rise up and advocate for all those who have been used, marginalized and taken advantage of," Fireflight explained. "God doesn't want His children to live the rest of their lives trapped in the past, living as victims of tragedy and abuse. Jesus came that we would ALL have life and have it to the full!"
