Jason Petty, better known by his rap title
Propaganda,
claimed the number one spot in the iTunes Religion & Spirituality section today with his new podcast entitled "The Red Couch."

The podcast successfully bumped charismatic powerhouse Joel Osteen from number one just one day after its debut episode. Propaganda co-hosts the podcast with his wife Dr. Alma Zaragoza-Petty, and together they tackle topics ranging from "hood politics" to respecting your spouse in public. The podcast gets its namesake from a unique red couch that has become a centerpiece in the Petty's home and the starting place of many intellectual discussions between the couple.
"In the morning, after we send our kids off to school, we just kind of debrief about the world around us and just kind of catch up and reconnect," Propaganda explains in the introductory episode. "The span of topics that we talk about in this time is what we wanted to bring ya'll into."
