Nashville, TN – (October 7, 2013) – Fervent Records’ soulful vocalist/songwriter Dara Maclean teamed up with International Justice Mission last Tuesday to perform at a rally announcing the resolution to name October 1, 2013, as “International Justice Day” in Nashville, TN. Local students, city councilmembers and fellow advocates joined Maclean and International Justice Mission representatives on the steps of Nashville’s City Hall to show their support for the organization’s fight to bring awareness to and end human trafficking around the world. Maclean performed and dedicated her song, “Set My People Free,” to the cause at hand.
