Switchfoot and Relient K announced this week that they've been enjoying their co-headlining tour so much that they'll be extending it into a second leg in 2017.
"Our nation needs hope and healing more than ever- playing these songs of healing every night with our friends Relient K has brought such beautiful moments to life," Switchfoot explained through a facebook post. "In fact, we want to extend the tour and bring these songs to a few of our favorite cities that we missed along the way."
As with the first Looking for America tour, which will reach its conclusion at the end of this month, frontmen Jon Foreman and Matt Thiessen filmed a lighthearted trailer for the tour. You can watch the video below.
The tour, officially dubbed the "Still Looking For America 2our," is scheduled to begin on January 21 with a significant number stops in Switchfoot's homestate California, including Sacramento, Anaheim and Redding. The two bands will also play three shows in Canada. The eastern side of the States have a few scattered dates as well, as stops are also on the calendar for Louisville, KY, Knoxville, TN and Relient K's place of origin in Columbus, OH.
