Lacey Sturm has released a music video for her song "Rot" through Yahoo! Music. It is the first music video released from her album Life Screams, which dropped earlier this year.
The music video features a strong counter-human trafficking message, following the story of a woman caught in the sex trade. Sex trafficking activist, speaker and author Annie Lobert appears in the music video, and there is a call at the end to visit LaceySturm.com for more information on how to mobilize against trafficking. You can watch "Rot" below.
"Rot is one of my favorite songs from
Life Screams and we had an amazing time making the video," Lacey shared with her email list. "I hope it brings new freedom to the soul and new life to the heart. Love you guys!"
Life Screams was the debut solo album for Lacey, who previously rose to fame through fronting hard rock group Flyleaf. She is also currently preparing to release her second book,
The Mystery: Finding True Love In A World Of Broken Lovers. You can keep up with Lacey's work on
