Hard rock group Decyfer Down has launched an
indiegogo campaign to fund the release of a six song independent EP.
In the statement on the indiegogo page, Decyfer Down shared "Decyfer Down is a hard rock band that has been recording and touring nationally as a signed band for more than 10 years, spreading a message of hope through Jesus Christ. And thats exactly our mission moving forward. We still feel that God is using Decyfer Down in a mighty way! To continue on our journey independent from a record label, we need your help financially to fund this project which we will be releasing in the spring of 2016."
Rewards for backers include items like a vinyl release, exclusive acoustic EP of Decyfer Down classics, dinner with the band and even recording with them in the studio. The band teased new music earlier this month with a 45 second clip of new song "
Nothing More" posted on their facebook page displaying a return to the band's heavy music roots. The current lineup as the band moves forward is TJ Harris (vocals), Brandon Mills (guitar), Chris Clonts (guitar), Benjamin Millhouse (drums) and Chris Furr (bass).
The rallying call to fans to join them in creating the new music follows a very successful stint on the City Rockfest tour this spring, the band's first time on the road in three years, and a fall tour with Children 18:3. The band plans to continue their heavy touring schedule into 2016, bringing the new songs on the road. To find out more about the EP and to back the project, visit the
