Earlier this fall, ELEVATION RHYTHM released the poignant live worship song, “At The Altar” featuring Abbie Gamboa and Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson. Inspired by the Bible story of Mary pouring expensive perfume on Jesus before His crucifixion, this song encourages the listener to give God our significant sacrifice.
"Our intention with this rendition of ‘At The Altar’ wasn’t just to create another acoustic song, but to truly capture the intimacy of its message," shares Josh Holiday. "While the original version served as an invitation, we wanted this version to be deeply personal—a prayer of surrender. So, we subtly tweaked the lyrics to reflect this change in perspective."
