I love this book with a passion!!!!!
You can pick up on the styles of both of the authors in this one. Perretti's attention to the details of the environment and surrounds, and then the added elements of Ted's way of giving the story a nice twist, I had never read any of Ted's books before this so that was definitely something I noticed.
Frank has a way of keeping you enticed in the storyline and the characters which I noticed greatly in The Oath. And Ted has the ability to throw in twists that just make you gasp or make your jaw drop in disbelief.
Definitely a keeper.

One of the best combinations of authors ever | Posted April 09, 2008
After reading this book, you will think twice about entering an abandoned house. The suspense and twists plots from Ted Dekker and the spiritual aspect(seen in many of his books) and from Frank Peretti make for a truly great book that forces you to turn the pages no matter how creepy or frightening it is.

All I can say is whoa. What a book! I have never ever read a book like this before. Very deep and at times it makes you jump out of your skin! A very good book written by to great authors. I say congrats you too! Wonderful job and i can't wait to see the movie one day. Even though it's already out!

It's a Book that will Scare the crap out of you but has a positive message in the end. | Posted February 24, 2008
House is a book that makes you unable to sleep well for about a week after you finish it but it's a really good message about how the light can penetrate the darkness. Full of great characters and pshyco baddies and lots of weird supernatural stuff, House is a book that has to be read.
BTW: The movie version should be out sometime this spring. Can't wait.

You will be on the edge of your couch or chair wherever you are reading it. It's a great book that allows you to connect with the characters in a way that will let you realize that we face spiritual warfare every day. A must read.

This book was the best book I think I have ever read besides the Bible, duh! I loved all of this book and I am going to read it again soon after I finish THE VISITATION by FP! I love all of Peretti's works but this is my absolute fav! This book will keep you on the edge of your seat from when Jack crashes to the possibilities of Christ or an angel!!!!!!!!!!

This book was so amazing. I could not put it down, because the second I picked began reading I was too into it to put it down. The book gave so many twists and turns, it began to get so intense and it felt like you were there. This book combined my two favorte authors and they did an amazing job together. I would recommend this book to anyone who reads and can't wait for Dekker and Peretti to collaborate again.

i really want to read this book sometime i getta chance on getting my hands on one. even though i have a lot of books already i just want more to read especially Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti's books. i already own one of each of there books.

I had such a hard time trying to peel myself away from this book! I'm so glad that I don't ever have to go through that twisted reality.
This book is a masterpiece. They have done an excellent job on this book. Literally keeping you on the edge of you seat.

The book is awesome...a very chilling twisted story...I highly recommend all you thrill seekers to read the book...you wont be disappointed. Once you pick up the book, i guaranteed you won't want to put it down.
there is also the movie...not to happy about it but its ok to watch
