The story follows the life of an orphan named Jane Eyre from the time she is sent to live with her uncle's family through boarding school and into her position as governess of Thornfield Manor. There she falls in love with her employer who is hiding a dark secret. The novel is somewhat gothic in nature and more than have autobiographical.

I've said it before and I will say it again and again. As often As I need to. Classics are classics for a reason. This book is the remarkable journey of one young woman who rises above her circumstances in the most unusual of ways. It is and it is not your typical love story. OK, governess and lord that's predictable right? Well, let's mix in a horrible secret hidden in the attic and a family that is just...insane and a tad of tragedy. Curious? Check it out. You'll be glad you did.

I love this book. I have lost count of how many times I have read it. I have almost lost count of how many copies I have. I have way too many-that's for sure.
It's about a girl (Jane Eyre)who lives through some awful experiences but remains faithful to God through out everything.
What if you could have everything you've ever wanted, a lifelong love, and riches beyond your imagination? But you had a choice to make-to follow what God says or to do what you want to do? Well Jane makes this choice and nothing goes like she thinks it will.
It is truly a classic and I had fun reading about Jane and her life experiences. The language can get tedious at times (but not for me-I LOVE it just That much... ) but it's a story worth sticking with to the very end. Happy Reading!
